Two Navy League Members honored by the Joint Chiefs of Staff
On March 18, at the Capitol, two Navy League Members from Florida were honored with awards presented by the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Mr. John Osterweil a member of Sarasota-Manatee Council was awarded the Joint Chiefs of Staff Award for Distinguished Public Service. This is the highest public service award that can be presented by the Joint Chiefs.
Mr. Mark Rosenthal a member of Tampa Council was awarded the Joint Chiefs of Staff Award for Outstanding Public Service. The awards were presented by General David Petraeus. President Branch and Dale Lumme were among the invited guests.
