SEA-AIR-SPACE EXPOSITION POWERS UP FOR 2000

Arlington, Va. -- The Navy League of the United States will host the largest maritime exposition in the world, the Sea-Air-Space Exposition, at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington, D. C. from March 30 - April 1, 1999.

This year's theme is "Power Up for 2000."

The exposition will feature 150 exhibits of the latest technology from leading defense industries. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with experts from the defense industry and experience, first-hand, the most powerful and advanced technology available to U. S. maritime components.

Admission is free to the exposition and a seminar series, led by senior officers from the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard. Those qualified and encouraged to attend include: members of the armed forces, civilian staff of the U. S. Defense establishment, members of the Reserve and retired U.S. military, representatives of foreign embassies, and members of the Navy League of the United States. A photo ID or business identification will be required upon check-in for attendee registration. Special events, including a gala banquet, luncheons, and presentation of the prestigious Fleet Admiral Chester A. Nimitz Award for industry leadership and the Albert A. Michelson Award for technical excellence and achievement highlight the three-day trade show.
