National President McGrath to attend Pacific Central Region Meeting...

The Pacific Coast Region is planning a meeting for Saturday, May 10, 2008. Items under discussion will be ongoing Navy League activities, Navy League Council operations, and how the Navy League is accomplishing the vital mission of supporting the Sea Services. The venue for this meeting is the lovely California Maritime Academy campus on the water at Vallejo.

Navy League National President J. Michael "Mike" McGrath will be the Guest of Honor at the event luncheon. Also in attendance will be Mr. Salvador Chairez, Senior Director of Membership, who will provide a Membership Department update.

A Welcome Aboard Social is planned for Friday, May 9, at the home of Jeanne and Bill Sharkey. Jeanne is president of the Contra Costa and Sonoma County councils of the Navy League. Bill Sharkey is a Navy League National Director.
