Western Connecticut Council hosts Distinguished Speaker Series event...

The Western Connecticut Council of the Navy League is hosting Wayne Simmons, who sits on the Advisory Council for the Intelligence Summit and is a Fox News Channel Terrorism analyst, at their Distinguished Speaker Series event scheduled for 7:30 pm on January 24, 2008, at the Stamford Government Center.

Mr. Simmons was recruited out of the Navy by the CIA where he became part of an Outside Paramilitary Special Operations Group fighting Narco Terrorists. He also ran Special Operations against arms smugglers, counterfeiters, cyber-terrorists, and industrial espionage. He has been a consultant to the White House and a member of the Pentagon Outreach Program for Military Intelligence Analysts.

The SGC is located at 888 Washington Boulevard (corner of Tresser and Washington Blvds.) Free parking is available in the Governement Center parking garage.
