Maritime Strategy Posters published online...
From the office of the Navy CIO

The first batch in the "family of maritime strategy posters" that [have] been [in development] over the past few months have been posted [online].
Each poster is designed to convey a distinct notion of the Maritime Strategy. Individual posters represent the expanded core capabilities and the notion of how seapower promotes global stability and prosperity. They include direct quotes from Navy, Coast Guard and Marine leadership or quotes pulled directly from the Strategy itself.
Phase two of th[e] initiative is to create an online slideshow with the posters set to music that will be available on the Maritime Strategy website. This slideshow will [display] these concepts collectively and would also be seeded onto social media sites such as YouTube and made small enough that [they] could be e-mailed to interested parties (friends, family, retirees, shipmates, etc.) -- that will then circumnavigate the globe a few times.
[P]hase three involves get[ting] the [posters] entered into the Navy stock system so commands without [a printing] capability could order them through the ... system for use in decorating conference rooms, etc. Interestingly enough, these posters have been online for only a few hours and [there has] already [been] a request for copies from USCG LORAN Station Attu, Alaska (1,500 miles from mainland Alaska).
We believe there will be significant interest in these posters. [Our] intent is to continue to make new posters to add to this collection. [Feedback may be sent] to CDR Cappy Surette and Mr. Chris Madden.
