St. Augustine Council celebrates USN's 232nd Birthday...

As is their annual custom, the St. Augustine Council once again celebrated the Navy's Birthday. Their military guests included CDR Scott Dugan, Commanding Officer of the USS Farragut, LCDR Matthew Bonner, Executive Officer, CMC Mike Jones, Command Master Chief, and Master Chief Keith Lagagna, Combat Systems Master Chief.
They honored some very special guests, including six members of the Pearl Harbor's Survivor's Association and their spouses. The Council was on hand recently at their reunion to present these men with a plaque from the Navy League and to thank them for their service to our Country.
The NJROTC from Allen D. Nease High School provided the honor guard services for the evening and were guests for dinner; they also assisted in the cutting of the traditional Navy Birthday cake, along with the USS Farragut CO and a member of the Pearl Harbor Survivor's group -- signifying the past, present, and future.
