The Bay County Council presented a $3,000 donation to the Gulf Coast State College STEM Program to help provide scholarships for students attending its one-week STEM camps, as well as support the purchase of supplies used in building 3D-printed underwater robots.
These hands-on programs give youth the opportunity to learn valuable skills like 3D printing, engineering, coding and building underwater robots—sparking curiosity and preparing the next generation for careers in science, technology and our region’s growing maritime and defense industries. The council is proud to support a program that’s investing in the future of their community.
Bravo Zulu to both the Bay County Council and Gulf Coast State College for creating opportunities that inspire students to discover future passions.
