New Hampshire Council Welcomes International Navy Officers and Honors USS Cheyenne Crew at Historic Portsmouth Events

New Hampshire Council board member Stephanie Seacord welcomed a group of 60 international navy officers from 46 countries to Portsmouth, New Hampshire for a tour of the Portsmouth Peace Treaty exhibit at the Portsmouth Historical Society and Portsmouth Naval Shipyard Treaty Rooms – where the Portsmouth Peace Treaty was signed in 1905. 

The crew of USS Cheyenne enjoyed a crew family picnic and awards presentation at Strawbery Banke Museum thanks to the chair of the Portsmouth New Hampshire Host Community Welcoming Committee for USS Cheyenne. In addition to other awards, ship captain Commander Kyle Calton presented CHOP Christian Coney with his gold dolphins.
