Executive Vice President, Technology and Media

Jolene Edwards serves as the Executive Vice President of Technology and Media at the Navy League of the United States, where she leads strategic initiatives to advance the organization’s digital transformation, strengthen cybersecurity practices, and amplify media outreach. Since joining the Navy League in 2019, she has driven efforts to modernize technology infrastructure, enhance online engagement, and expand the organization’s influence in support of the sea services. 

Jolene brings a robust professional background, having previously served as an IT specialist with the Air Force Office of Scientific Research. She holds a Master of Science in Cybersecurity Policy from the University of Maryland University College, as well as Security+ and PMP certifications, which complement her deep understanding of cyber policy, project management, and information security frameworks. Her six years in the United States Marine Corps honed her leadership skills and fueled her commitment to national defense. 

Originally from Gardner, Massachusetts, Jolene has called the Northern Virginia area home since 2011. Alongside her professional achievements, she is also raising three children, balancing her roles as a dedicated mother and an influential leader in technology and organizational strategy. Her contributions to the Navy League underscore her commitment to supporting America’s sea services and advancing the League’s mission on a national scale.
