Military Sealift Command Far East recognized Pongpisit Ungsuchaikij, a long-standing volunteer of the Siam Council, for his more than 10 years serving U.S. Navy ships with cooking demonstrations to countless numbers of Sailors and civilian mariners, during a certificate presentation aboard expeditionary fast transport ship USNS City of Bismarck in Sriracha, Thailand, Nov. 6. As posted by the Department of Defense, the Siam Council hosted a community outreach event in Pattaya, Thailand, introducing American Sailors to young students at a local school. What a special shout-out from DoD!
