Minnesota Council

The U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Twin Cities Squadron represented the Minnesota Council in the iconic St. Paul Winter Carnival Torchlight parade, Feb. 1. The Saint Paul Winter Carnival is a family-friendly festival that takes place in Saint Paul, Minnesota. It’s the oldest winter festival in the United States, with the first carnival held in 1886.

Late in January, the council presented Cadets from the squadron with special recognition. The Theodore Roosevelt medal was presented to Chief Petty Officer Josef Jirik, the Junior Cadet of the Year to PO2 William Parrish and the Theodore Roosevelt Ribbon to PO2 Drue Dowley.

Fantastic job by these young Cadets and the Minnesota Council that supports them.
