Celebrating 132 Years of Chief Petty Officers with Imperial Valley and San Diego Councils

This week, the Navy and the Navy League celebrated the 132nd birthday of the U.S. Navy’s Chief Petty Officers, recognizing them as the backbone of the Navy and a vital force behind its success.

Two special events were held in their honor. The first was hosted by the Imperial Valley Navy League Council.

The second was a celebration organized by the San Diego Navy League Council. Both gatherings reflected the deep appreciation and steady support these councils offer to the Sea Services.

A Sea Cadet Chief also took part in the festivities, bringing a symbolic connection between generations of leadership and service.

Happy birthday to all our Navy Chiefs, and thank you for your continued dedication to our nation.
