Help the Society of the Honor Guard Find Sailors for Tomb of the Unknown Soldier Centennial

The organization conducting the centennial event for the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is trying to find Sailors who served on specific vessels during specific months from 1921 to 1984. The organization is looking for photos, video, movies, notes, diaries and personal reflections of these events.

World War I Unknown Soldier
• October-November 1921 aboard the USS Olympia.

World War II and Korean War Unknown Soldier
• May of 1958 aboard the USS Blandy, USS Boston, USS Canberra, USCGC Ingham
• May of 1958 of USN aircraft (Navy Fleet Support Squadron VR-21) transporting the caskets from Barbers Point (Hawaii) to Guantanamo Bay (Cuba).
• May of 1958 on shore supporting any mission surrounding the Unknown Soldiers at Naples (Italy), Guantanamo Bay (Cuba), Pearl Harbor (Hawaii), Barbers Point (Hawaii), and Norfolk (Virginia)

Vietnam Unknown Soldier
• May of 1984 aboard the USS Brewton.
• May of 1984 on shore supporting any mission surrounding the Vietnam Unknown Soldier at Pearl Harbor (Hawaii) and Alameda Naval Base (California).
