Secure Data Sharing in High-Threat Environments
U.S. military and intelligence missions and organizations are increasingly collecting and sharing information over various network infrastructures, to include High Threat Networks.
A High Threat Network (HTN) is a network in which a known or suspected bad actor is or could be operating, most commonly without the knowledge of the primary user of the network. HTNs are also networks that are known for a lack of sufficient cybersecurity measures or network ownership and security posture is unknown.
The National Cross Domain Strategy and Management Office has issued new guidelines on how to protect such connections. Those guidelines are now impacting those missions and organization that need to protect mission critical information sharing over High Threat Networks.
In this session, learn about the risks and threats of infiltration of potential attacks or exfiltration of unauthorized data associated with such connections and how mitigation processes and technologies are being used to mitigate such risks and threats and protect the need for mission critical information sharing.
