Celebrating the 250th Birthday of the United States Navy

LARRY G. SALTER, NAVY LEAGUE NATIONAL PRESIDENT AND CHAIRMAN

Today, we proudly join our nation in celebrating the 250th Birthday of the United States Navy.

Since October 13, 1775, generations of Sailors have stood the watch, defending freedom, safeguarding prosperity, and embodying the highest ideals of honor, courage, and commitment. Their service has shaped not only the course of our Navy, but also the very story of our nation.

As members of the Navy League of the United States, we are privileged to support these men and women, their families, and the sea services they represent. On this milestone anniversary, let us renew our commitment to our mission: to support, advocate, and educate, ensuring the strength of America’s maritime forces for the generations to come.

To every Navy Leaguer: thank you for being part of this legacy of service. Together, we honor the past, stand with today’s Sailors, and prepare the way for tomorrow.

Happy 250th Birthday, United States Navy!

With gratitude,

Larry Salter
Navy League National President
& Chairman of the Board
