Hampton Roads Council Hosts 249th U.S. Navy Birthday Ball and Rock Concert

The Navy League of the United States, Hampton Roads Council, was proud to host the 249th U.S. Navy Birthday Ball, setting the stage for a historic evening with the first-ever globally live-streamed U.S. Navy Birthday Rock Concert. The event brought together over 600 attendees, including active-duty sailors from local commands, retirees, and members of the Marine Corps and Air Force, for a night of celebration and camaraderie.

Special guest Admiral Lisa Franchetti, Chief of Naval Operations (CNO), delivered inspiring remarks, recognizing the incredible dedication of the men and women who serve our nation. “It was a pleasure to join Sailors in Hampton Roads for the 249th Navy Birthday Ball,” said Admiral Franchetti. “I could not be more proud of this amazing team of Warfighters who operate around the world and around the clock to protect our security and prosperity.”

It was an honor to also welcome Admiral Daryl Caudle, Commander of U.S. Fleet Forces Command, and so many local sailors who call Hampton Roads home. This incredible celebration would not have been possible without the generous support of our sponsors, whose contributions helped make the evening a resounding success.

Thank you to everyone who joined in to commemorate this special occasion and celebrate the Navy’s rich history and bright future!
