The Public Affairs Office of Navy Region Hawaii has been working with the Honolulu Council to host visitors on their ships in port every weekend for more than a month! Navy League members, community partners, Junior ROTC and Navy ROTC students at the University of Hawaii have been on USS Shiloh, USS Decatur, USS Michael Murphy and USS Frank E. Petersen, the newest destroyers at Pearl Harbor. From a Ticonderoga-class cruiser to the newest Arleigh Burke-class Aegis guided missile destroyer, the ship tours have been very well received! Learning about the changes in size and might over the last 30 years has been very educational. Thank you for supporting your local community and sea service members in this special endeavor.
