It’s been a busy couple of weeks for the Honolulu Council! First, they recognized MIDN Megan Foreman of the University of Hawaiʻi NROTC as the 2026 Annual Navy League Midshipman of the Year. Presented with a medal and certificate, Foreman was honored for her outstanding performance, accomplishments and commitment to service while representing the highest ideals of the sea services. The council also recognized exceptional NJROTC and JROTC cadets from a number of local Hawaiian high schools.
Next, Navy League members had a unique opportunity to take part in a private tour of the NOAA facility on Ford Island, including Science on a Sphere, the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center and one of their ships, the Okeanos Explorer.
