Honolulu Council Hosts Annual American Patriot Awards Dinner

The Honolulu Navy League recently hosted its American Patriot Awards Dinner, a special evening dedicated to recognizing outstanding leadership and community impact in support of the sea services.

This year’s honorees were Retired Admiral Peter Gumataotao and the Loui Family—two powerful examples of lifelong commitment to service. Admiral Gumataotao’s distinguished Navy career reflects the highest standards of leadership, while the Loui Family has long supported Hawai‘i’s military and economic communities by creating jobs and providing vital support to the fleet across the Indo-Pacific.

The council extended a heartfelt mahalo to its many community partners, sponsors, and volunteers who made the evening possible. Their support helped create not only a memorable event, but also reinforced the council’s mission to advocate for, educate about, and support our sea services across Hawai‘i and beyond.

Bravo Zulu to the honorees—and to all who helped make this celebration of patriotism and service a success.
