The Imperial Valley Council jingled all the way through the evening with their Ugly Sweater Contest. They recognized Sailors and Marines for their outstanding performance, and the council was recognized for our support to VMFA-214. A great way to celebrate the holiday season!
Also in December, the council began preparing for the U.S. Navy Blue Angels’ arrival to Imperial Valley for the 2025 winter training season. Their crew of Board members, Sailors and the CMC from Naval Air Facility El Centro, along with a local Korean War Veteran, volunteered their time to construct a new platform at Shade Tree.
