The Key West council held its annual Military Member of the Year Celebration on Feb. 28. This event honors the remarkable achievements of military members chosen by their commands for their outstanding contributions over the last year as Sailor of the Year, Member of the Year, etc. The council hosts the dinner to celebrate their success and acknowledge their hard work. This year they celebrated the hard work of 35 sea service members. Photos of all the winners can be found here.
Earlier in March, council members also celebrated with U.S. Coast Guard Sector Key West at the acceptance ceremony of USCGC Earl Cunningham (WPC 1159) with 13 family members in attendance. Thank you for supporting your local sea services!
