Minnesota Navy League Provides Sailor Support for USS Minnesota and USS Minneapolis-Saint Paul

The Minnesota Council of the Navy League of the United States has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting our nation’s sea service members and their families with two recent contributions.

The council appropriated $1,500 to USS Minnesota to assist the ship’s Family Readiness Group in covering the cost of Single Sailor Boxes for an upcoming deployment. These care packages play an important role in boosting morale and ensuring that sailors feel supported while away from home.

In addition, the council has provided $2,000 to USS Minneapolis-Saint Paul to cover the cost of deployment certificates for the crew currently underway in the 4th Fleet. These certificates serve as lasting reminders of their service and deployment experience.

Through efforts like these, the Minnesota Council continues to demonstrate the Navy League’s mission of supporting sea service personnel, their families, and the communities in which they serve.
