Karen Maddox

Vice President of Member Engagement

Karen Maddox serves as the Vice President of Member Engagement for the Navy League of the United States. This role works closely with the volunteer leadership of the Navy League.

In her role, Maddox leads the member engagement team and oversees all membership operations including recruitment and retention, outreach to the field, customer service and database management. Maddox joined Navy League in October 2019 as the Associate Director of Member Services. After promotions to Director and Senior Director, Maddox was promoted to Vice President in September 2023.

Maddox has over a decade of experience in association membership management. Prior to joining Navy League, she worked on the membership team for the Biotechnology Innovation Organization in Washington, D.C. Maddox graduated from James Madison University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing.
