Tanneka Jones
Tanneka Jones serves as the SVP Finance for the Navy League of the United States. This role works closely with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Jones joined the Navy League in February 2021. In her role, she leads and manages the finance department through oversight of the Navy League, Navy League Foundation and its building entities. The finance department consists of herself, Controller/HR, Senior Staff Accountant-AP, Senior Staff Accountant-AR, Office Manager and the Director of Development. Jones is the primary point of contact for any finance related questions.
Jones has many years of experience in auditing and managing finances of non-profit organizations. Prior to joining Navy League, she worked as an auditor for 10 years before moving into non-profit finance roles. Her most recent job before Navy League was at Hospice, where she served as CFO and Interim CEO for Operations. Jones graduated from West Virginia University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and received her MBA from Florida Institute of Technology (Florida Tech).
