In celebration of our nation’s 250th anniversary, the Guadalcanal Squadron of the Sea Cadets joined the USS Arlington as the ship sailed into New York City harbor for the International Naval Review (INR). The Upper South Carolina Council adopted squadron climbed aboard the USS Arlington in Baltimore, Maryland, and cruised their way to New York City, learning about life onboard the amphibious transport dock. The ship was the first naval vessel to enter the harbor for the INR.
What an incredible opportunity for the young, bright minds of the Guadalcanal Sea Cadets!
