The San Diego Council is celebrating the nation’s Semiquincentennial anniversary in one of the most American ways possible: NASCAR! The council participated in the first-ever Naval Base Coronado NASCAR Race on June 18-21, honoring America’s 250th birthday. The collab at Naval Air Station North Island brought together the U.S. Navy, NASCAR, community leaders, industry partners and supporters, highlighting the strength of partnerships that connect our military and civilians in the communities they serve across the country. Congrats to the council and the city of San Diego for making this monumental race happen. Take a look at the rest of the photos here.
