Hampton Roads Council Showcases USS John F. Kennedy Commissioning Efforts at SAS 2025

The Navy League Hampton Roads Council proudly represented its region and mission at Sea-Air-Space 2025, the nation’s premier maritime exposition, held at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center from April 6-9.

Located just outside the massive Prince George’s Exhibit Hall, the Hampton Roads council welcomed attendees to their booth to highlight their involvement in the upcoming commissioning of the USS John F. Kennedy (CVN 79). Council members shared updates, answered questions, and inspired attendees with their ongoing support of this historic moment in naval history.

The opening day of #SAS2025 brought together defense leaders, industry innovators, and sea service supporters from around the globe. For the Hampton Roads Council, it was a day of networking and showcasing how councils play a vital role in supporting our Navy and its people.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who stopped by the Hampton Roads booth to learn more and show their support. Moments like these remind us of the Navy League’s strength as a grassroots movement grounded in community.
