Honolulu Council

The Submarine Force of the Pacific held a golf tournament at Mamala Bay Golf Course for 120 players. The tournament was held to raise funds for the submarine enlisted and officer balls on March 4 and 5. The Honolulu Council made snack bags for all of the players and helped with registration.

Later in February, the council presented plaques in appreciation and recognition of right-hand Sailors and their accomplishments during a quarterly luncheon. A right-hand Sailor is a junior Sailor or junior Officer who is the go-to person for a Chief Petty Officer.

Recently, council members took a tour of the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency. The agency works daily to fulfill our nation’s obligation of accounting for missing personnel and providing the fullest possible accounting for our missing personnel to their families and the nation.

February was a packed month for the Honolulu Council. Great job!
