The Kingsville Navy League Council gathered downtown on April 3 for its bi-monthly Directors & All-Hands Membership Meeting, marking an evening of recognition, celebration, and growth.
A highlight of the evening was the presentation of a prestigious award to longtime supporter Dick Messbarger, honored by the Chief of Naval Operations for his continued service and dedication to the sea services. Dick and his wife, Sandra, joined Sailors from NAS Kingsville and Training Wing Two (TW-2) and fellow council members for a commemorative photo.
Council President Charlie Ratliff also introduced Mr. Alan Harwell as one of the council’s newly elected Directors. In addition, three new members were formally welcomed: Mr. Bruce Roberts, CAPT Aaron “Princess” Rybar, USN, and Mayor Sam Fugate, further strengthening the council’s ties to both the Navy and the local community.
